About

In her latest venture of creative exploration, Isabelle decided to combine her passion of manipulating well sourced vintage garments with an affordable and environmental consciousness. ARCHIVE came about as a way to combine the old and new by taking vintage sequin garments and revamping them to make them current and sexy. A sequin piece stands out on its own, but with new, reconstructed cuts, it becomes a piece, a showstopper, each piece custom made and perfected. ARCHIVE pieces are available both for sale and some pieces as rental. Thus creating a fully sustainable line of clothing with a history and originality, ARCHIVE truly has something for everyone.

French transplant, Isabelle came to LA in the mid 90’s from Paris after spending a few years in London discovering her own sense of style and freedom of expression. After modeling for designers such as Martin Margiela, Isabelle landed in LA where she worked as a freelance stylist for almost a decade. She worked in editorial - for magazines as well as working with world-renowned recording artists Eminem, Robbie Williams, Beth Orton.

Venturing in different directions, Isabelle enrolled herself at Parsons the New School of Design in NYC to learn the trade of fashion design. It is there where she started her own fashion line Alms. After the birth of her daughter Manon, she accepted a design position at Joe’s Jeans where she helped to expend the brand from a denim company to a multi divisions brand, as well as handling the styling. She contributed to the artistic direction of advertising for which the brand was known.

Isabelle continued her design career at Frame denim where she landed the position of Senior Designer and helped build their Women’s Collection division.

Today Isabelle provides her services to clients such as SPRWMN, Madeleine Thompson, Sundry to name a few. She continues to travel the world with her daughter ensuring she keeps herself inspired and her finger always on the pulse.
